HELP WITH CONTOUR

01 Capture and framing

Open Contour’s bundled Help with Command-Shift-? for detailed instructions. Contour only draws guides: fit your window by hand and capture with macOS or QuickTime. Check the saved image dimensions when an upload requires an exact size.

The overlay is configured to stay out of captures. Backdrop guide lines may appear in a selected region; keep unwanted lines outside the selection.

02 Updates

Choose Contour → Check for Updates… to check manually. Automatic checks use Sparkle. Updates are downloaded from the apps portal and verified before installation.

03 Feedback

Include your macOS version, Contour version and the steps that led to the issue. Avoid including private information in a public report.
